The inception year (2016) had certain spot light events as listed below : Date : June 6 - 9, 2016

Day 1 – An art workshop was conducted by Artist Ovieya Rajkumar; to inculcate visual ability, spatial awareness and creativity amongst the students.

Day 2 - Photography session was hosted by Ar. Nachiketha B Phathanjali; to expose students to various techniques and components involved in creative photography process like exposure, lighting, focus, rule of thirds, composition, etc.

Day 3 – A site visit to SACON (Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History) located in Anaikatti, Coimbatore designed by world renowned Architect Laurie Baker; to understand the technical components of the building, filler slab, circular plan, red oxide flooring, simple forms of construction with exposed brick work.
