The students of 1st year were taken for an educational tour, to study about various architectural monuments of South India located in Karnataka, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad; with significant heritage important sites like Hampi, Ajantha, Ellora Caves and Gol Gumbaz.
This helped the students to experience buildings in their vernacular context, explore the materials, constructions techniques, the history and theory of architectural design; and thereby integrating the acquired knowledge into their area of interest.
