Understading the Topography

Students of architecture should possess a firm knowledge on site analysis to assess the design parameters. Topography is a crucial factor in site analysis. Therefore, a site with contour was spotted and the students were taken to understand grading design process.

The place will have a small dam and the students are expected to draw a site section, mark the level differences based on contour lines and intervals; using primary data and by accessing Google Earth satellite imageries.
